Shenae Grimes Denies Rumors; Still Looks Really Thin
So Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow. Will Shenae Grimes sit this one out, if you know what we mean (we mean she’s rumored to be an anorexic bitch)?
The Canadian actress says we shouldn’t believe the hype, and she has a message for all the haters - ask her before believing what they read.
“Nobody has asked me about it. I really can’t help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it,” Grimes opened up to People in an interview, referencing her rumored eating disorder(s).
The 19-year-old Toronto native says the experience of moving to Los Angeles earlier this year parallels that of her 90210 character, Annie Wilson.
“It was huge culture shock,” says Grimes, who became celebrity gossip fodder the minute she was cast in the CW remake of the 1990s FOX drama.
Along with her fellow female 90210 costars, Shenae Grimes has been slammed for being too thin, having eating disorders and being a huge bitch in general.
“It’s so frustrating,” 5-foot-3 Shenae Grimes says, noting that she does not have an eating disorder, but had a close friend struggle with one for years.
“Meet me in person and you can’t say anything … No bones sticking out. Just because people are calling you skinny doesn’t mean I’m like, ‘Yay!’ No! You’re telling me I don’t look right. This is me. This is my body - I have accepted it.”

As for being a diva and a party girl, she shrugs that off too.
“The hours I work, I can’t be. These are stories written about everybody. Of course we’re new girls on a hit show so we’re plopped into little boxes. And people buy it. It makes me second guess anything I’ve ever read about anybody.”
Spencer Pratt Issues Statement on Wedding
The Hills’ star Spencer Pratt released a statement to The Associated Press, laughing off suggestions that his secret wedding to Heidi Montag is a sham and insisting that the marriage is 100 percent legitimate. Here’s what he says:
“We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer. We’ve never been happier.”
He added, regarding the legalities: “And, like other elopements that happen outside the country, we will take care of the legal details when we get home.”
Well, that sort of clears it up. Save for the many unanswered questions.
Meanwhile, The Hills executive producer, Liz Gateley, said footage from the “surprise” wedding will be included in the reality show’s upcoming fifth season.
“MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation,” Gateley says.
“Fans will be able to see footage from the ceremony in an upcoming episode, and we will continue to follow the newlyweds’ relationship as it plays out in real life.”
That’s all good, as long as we don’t have to watch Spencer Pratt recite his cheesy wedding vows. That might cause sudden, involuntary projectile vomiting.
Possible Couple Alert: Kanye West and Sessilee Lopez
Sessilee Lopez may be a burgeoning model for Victoria’s Secret, but the word is out about her relationship with Kanye West.
According to sources at The Sun, Lopez - who appeared in West’s music video for “Flashing Lights” - has been spending a lot of intimate time with the rapper.
“Kanye was instantly smitten with Sessilee and it’s not hard to see why,” said the source. “But it’s not just her looks that attracted Kanye; they get along really well and have a definite connection.”
The anonymous insider added:
“They have spent a lot of time together recently as Kanye has invited her along to numerous parties. They’ve also spent some down time together.”
Kanye West has reportedly moved on from his split with ex-fiancee Alexis Phifer. He’s made the upgrade to Sessilee Lopez.
Spotted: Alex Rodriguez and… Cynthia Rodriguez! And Kids!
He may never come through in the clutch, but Alex Rodriguez looks like a natural at clutching daughter Ella, 5 months, while 3-year-old Natasha walks beside him.

A-Rod and the girls’ mom, Cynthia Rodriguez, split up a few months ago after more than six years of marriage, but look like they’re getting alone here, at least.

Moreover, the source says Cynthia’s mother, father and other family members are flying in for the holiday, and Alex will be there for the entire long weekend.
Maybe so, but TMZ reports that 50-year-old pop diva and the 33-year-old Yankees star were spotted exiting a private jet in Miami yesterday. Very interesting!
Celebrity Gossip Magazine Not OK! at Spelling

But that’s not really what we’re concerned with here. Don’t get us wrong. Reese rules, and we’re glad she’s “back on top” from wherever she went. Reese Witherspoon was always and is still an acclaimed movie star, no? Just asking.
Anyway, what we’re driving at is the ineptness of OK! - and we’re not talking about its shoddy reporting for once! Can you spot the typo in the cover below?
If you guessed “Ashley & Pete” … you’re right! Come on, OK. Technically you should be right and Joe Simpson would be the idiot who screwed it up, but it doesn’t work that way. Everyone knows it’s spelled AshlEE Simpson. Get it together.
As for Ashlee’s newborn son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, that’s not a typo. Unfortunately, AshlEE and Pete named their first-born exactly what they wanted.
Hills Stars Congratulate Spencer and Heidi on Wedding
The Hills’ Audrina Patridge says she couldn’t be happier for her co-stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt and their secret wedding in Mexico.
“I’m excited for Heidi and Spencer, and I hope they have a long and happy marriage,” Patridge said. “When you spend any time with the two of them, it’s obvious how much they love each other, and how committed they are.”
“I am surprised and not surprised at the same time,” Patridge added. “Heidi and Spencer seem like the types who would want a lavish wedding full of friends and family. But their wedding sounds like it was very intimate and romantic.”
Whitney Port - another co-star on The Hills and the leading lady of its upcoming spin-off The City - also sent best wishes to the newly-married Speidi.
“Congratulations to them,” Whitney said in an interview with Extra. “I think it’s just great if that’s what they’re ready to do. Good for them.”
Dumb and Dumber officially became man and plastic wife last week.
The secret nuptials not only raised questions regarding its legality or how spontaneous it actually was, compared to what the couple is claiming, but Heidi’s sister, Holly Montag, and her parents were reportedly far from pleased.
Not only did Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt keep the November 20 ceremony secret from friends and family, but also from the MTV’s cameras.
Fans can rest assured that the development will be explored when The Hills goes back into production for its upcoming new episodes, however.
“MTV wishes Heidi and Spencer the best and can’t wait to share their special moment with The Hills fans later this season,” MTV said in a statement.
American Idol Season Eight Spoilers: Who’s Going to Hollywood?
The eighth season of American Idol premiere on Tuesday, January 13.
But no true fan can wait that long to see who made the first round of cuts. While none of the following names can be confirmed, The New York Post has revealed an early look at some of the semi-known people that have reportedly advanced to Hollywood.
They include:
- David Osmond, the nephew of Donny and Marie. David is the son of Alan Osmond, one of the original Osmond Family singers; also suffered from West Nile Virus, which left him with a form of muscular dystrophy.
- Michael Castro, younger brother of last year’s popular finalist Jason Castro.
- Anna Kaelin, the daughter of David Archuleta’s vocal coach.
- Danielle Roundtree (pictured), Miss New York USA 2008; lives in Queens and sings in jazz clubs.
- Jackie Tohn (pictured), an actress from Long Island who’s been working in Hollywood since she was nine years old; has appeared in shows ranging from The Nanny to The Sopranos.
- Tom and Jennifer Korbee, the first-ever husband and wife to advance.
Remember the names Danielle Roundtree (left) and Jackie Tohn. Either could be the next American Idol.

Supposed singer Aubrey O’Day will apparently transition from dressing like a skank to get attention to going completely buck a$$ naked to get attention.
The one-time face of Danity Kane spent all day at a Manhattan photo studio doing a naked spread for Playboy, according to the celebrity gossip site TMZ.
Word has it there may be some hairy critters in the pics with her … we’re talking about lion and tiger cubs, of course, not what you were thinking. Gross!
