Yankees star Alex Rodriguez may have hit his 11th home run during last night’s game, but his most exciting trip around the bases took place hours later!
We mean he may be hitting it with Cameron Diaz.
A-Rod and his New York teammates were in Los Angeles over the weekend to take on the Dodgers, and the slugger may have a new good luck charm.
After parading around with Kate Hudson and winning his first World Series with the Yankees last season, might Cameron Diaz fit the bill here in 2010?

CALEX: This wasn’t the first rendezvous for Cameron and Alex.
The Rod and the actress made no attempt at hiding their relationship on Friday, dining at Soho House with friends, including his manager Guy Oseary.
Guy, of course, also happens to be manager of Madonna, another famous A-Rod ex (his first famous fling after splitting from wife Cynthia Rodriguez).
He has eyes only for Cameron now, however. Reports have surfaced for months regarding the two grinding on each other and so on. It’s totally on.
“A-Rod and Cameron were very cute and affectionate,” says an eyewitness at the restaurant. “They were cuddling and he had his arm around her.”
“You can tell they really like each other.”
Another bonus for Diaz? She didn’t have to travel far for the c*ck this time. Her words. You just gotta go where that is, as she recently told Playboy.

Cameron Diaz’s alleged romancing of New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez allegedly isn’t sitting well with Kate Hudson and her alleged breast implants.
Yeah, there’s a lot of speculation in this gossip item.
According to Us Weekly, Kate and Cameron are locked in a bitter battle over A-Rod. Hudson dated him for much of last year, while Cameron might be now.
On May 2, Diaz was reportedly spotted leaving his N.Y. City penthouse with overnight bags. This followed earlier reports of A-Rod and Cameron grinding.
Here’s where it gets good. An insider believes Diaz is bedding A-Rod as a form of retaliation after Hudson hooked up with Justin Timberlake back in 2007.
Run for it, Thom Yorke. You want no part of this.

That alleged hookup happened two days after the Diaz-Timberlake breakup, so naturally, “Kate thinks this is payback, pure and simple,” the insider says.
Us insists Hudson’s not 100 percent wrong, either.
A Diaz pal claims that unlike Hudson and Rodriguez, “Cameron was actually in a very serious, long-term relationship with Justin. She thinks it’s a joke Kate would be mad. Kate is only upset because she hates being single.”
In an effort to hold on to Alex’s, one source even contends that Hudson got a boob job after they split to appeal to the Rod’s preference for “busty women.”
LOL. Even if that’s true, she apparently failed, as her “implants” are barely noticeable. She’s absolutely gorgeous, but they’re barely noticeable. That’s all.
A-Rod and Cameron Diaz: Still Grinding?
Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez raised eyebrows when they flirted and were grinding hard core at the Creative Artists Agency Super Bowl party in Miami.
Now, a few months later, their relationship has reportedly developed into much more, an insider close to the New York Yankees slugger tells Life & Style.
“A-Rod’s with Cameron,” the insider reveals, and then some.
“They’ve been keeping it quiet, but they’re totally together.”
We doubt it, unless Cameron likes to keep a very, very low profile. A-Rod’s last actress fling, Kate Hudson, was front and center at every frickin’ game.
Then again, they won the World Series, so …

When the photographers weren’t around, “they were all over each other at the CAA party,” says an onlooker. “Cameron had her hands all over Alex’s back.”

“They were dancing together. They also left the party together that night,” the source adds, noting that they are in no rush to acknowledge the relationship.
“Alex recently arranged to fly Cameron to Miami. He used to fly Kate Hudson there all the time, and no one knew that they were dating for a long while.”

Well, except for when he was cheating on Cynthia Rodriguez with that manly stripper. Stray-Rod kind of let his guard down there. Oh well, live and learn.
Witness: Cameron Diaz was “Grinding On ” Alex Rodriguez
The last time we wrote about Cameron Diaz, she was making like Madonna for a photo shoot with V magazine.
How ironic, considering we’re now reporting on the actress because she was making like the Material Girl in a different way this weekend: by macking on Alex Rodriguez!
At a Super Bowl XLIV pre-party Saturday night, Diaz and Rodriguez were definitely hanging out with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at the W Hotel, as evidenced by the photo below.
Multiple reports, meanwhile, say “they were having a great time,” as witnesses told both OK! Weekly and E! News that Cameron was “grinding on A-Rod.”
According to onlookers, Diaz was imbibing and acting “fun and flirty,” with the Yankees star, who sat on the couch alongside her when the pair wasn’t burning up the dance floor.
Cameron’s most famous relationship, of course, was with Justin Timberlake. A Rod, meanwhile, has been linked to Madonna, Kate Hudson and steroids.
Diaz and Cruise are starring in the upcoming film Knight and Day. This is apt because the real question on everyone’s mind is: did Cameron and Alex have a drunken night and then wake up in bed together the next day?
Did Madonna Come Between A-Rod & Kate Hudson?
In late 2008 and early 2009, the relationship between Alex Rodriguez and Madonna was frequent gossip fodder as the baseball star was divorcing his wife.
It was reported that an “affair of the heart” (or more) with Madge led to a contentious end to A-Rod’s marriage, which also produced two small children.
Now it looks like Cynthia Rodriguez may have company.
Actress Kate Hudson reportedly dumped the World Series winner after eight months because “his heart belongs to Madonna,” the New York Daily News says.
Hudson warned A-Rod that if he continued talking to the music icon she would leave, and kept her promise when A-Rod kept calling and texting the singer.
Is A-Rod still hung up on Madonna - and did Kate dump him for it?
“Kate was jealous,” said a source. “She gave A-Rod three chances to stop contacting Madonna. How would you feel if your new boyfriend kept calling his ex?”
Well, if she’s his f*%king soulmate, then …
The source said it broke Hudson’s heart but she didn’t want to be the other woman: “She said that if Madonna is what A-Rod wants then she can have him.”
Madonna has been reportedly tied to Brazilian model Jesus Luz since breaking up with A-Rod in early 2009. The extent of their relationship is rather unclear.
Regardless, this story doesn’t jibe with previous reports that Alex called it off because Kate was dating him for fame and publicity and was taking it too fast.
Whatever happened, there’s no telling where this Rod will end up next.
Report: Kate Hudson Wanted More “Screen Time,” Gave “Ultimatums” to Alex Rodriguez
Kate Hudson loved Alex Rodriguez, but she also loved the cameras at Yankee Stadium. A lot. That and Kate trying to “fast-track” their romance led to a A-Rod.
This according to a source close to the World Series champion, who broke up with Kate Hudson sometime last week after a very public six-month relationship.
The source says the actress’ non-subtle presence at Yankee games, where she “wanted more camera time each and every game” was “a turnoff” to A-Rod.
“She’d always want to be styled before games and insisted on front-row seats,” blurring the line between PR and true devotion, the A-Rod source tells Us.
A-Rod didn’t want “a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera … Alex wants someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship.”
C’MERE! Kate Hudson wanted to “fast-track” things with an unwilling Rod.
Rodriguez insiders say things were over between them longer ago than we thought, but he kept quiet until after Kate’s recent movie’s promotional events.
“Alex wanted to end this relationship well over a month ago,” the source says, but with Nine premiering, “felt that would be counterproductive and unfair.”
The friend suggests that Kate smothering him also pushed him away, as “she seemed compelled to track and follow his every move” during the MLB season.
Ultimately, Hudson tried to give Rodriguez “an ultimatum” and to “fast track” their new romance, even though “He’s coming off of a 13-year relationship.”
“He has two lovely children with his ex-wife, and that requires a certain responsibility. She gave him ultimatums that a newly divorced father can’t meet.”
Still, things ended amicably, and Yankee fans got a title out of it. As one fan recently told THG, “we’ll try to bring her back for the stretch run next year.”
Kate Hudson and A-Rod Break Up
In news that shocks us about as much as Alex Rodriguez turning into a prolific playoff slugger, he and Kate Hudson have called it quits as a couple.
The New York Yankees star and the actress were believed to be going strong as recently as last week and even talking engagement earlier this fall.
Perhaps Kate playing it coy on Letterman Thursday was a sign.
Hudson was strangely mum when asked about A-Rod on the Late Show. We say strangely because she seemed to publicly flourish dating the star.

After the two began dating in May, Hudson followed him throughout the MLB season, sitting front and center at many games, even on the road.
No reason for the Kate Hudson-A-Rod breakup was specified.
Maybe Kate is a serial monogamist but can’t commit. Maybe Alex was pining for Cynthia Rodriguez after he learned she’s now with Laszlo Fazekas.
Okay, we guarantee it’s not that scenario.
Nevertheless, A-Rod will apparently be returning to bachelorhood. He and Tiger Woods should get together and compare notes on mistresses.
Kate Hudson: A-Rod is Nice!
Flaunted on very-public dates and outings, and at every single Yankees home game, Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez’s steamy relationship is not a secret.
Still, on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, the actress didn’t give in to the host’s humorously nosy questions about her romance with A-Rod.
When Letterman opened up the questioning with, “So … uou’re a big Yankees fan, and you’re friends with Alex Rodriguez,” Hudson giggled sheepishly.
“Yeah, he’s a friend of mine. Nice guy,” she said.
So how did she and the Rod meet? “Can’t we talk about the holidays?” she asked. Did she and the baseball star spend Thanksgiving together? Nothing.
Kate Hudson played it coy on the subject of A-Rod … for once.
Letterman then prodded, “So is he a nice guy?” Hudson finally caved, saying, “Yeah, he’s a nice guy … You just can’t help yourself! You just can’t!”
“I knew it was going to come at some point!”
When Dave pointed out, “His game changed when you started showing up regularly at ball games,” Hudson responded, “It was a really fun summer.”
She refused to take credit for the Yankees’ 27th World Series title, but there’s no doubt Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez dating had a positive effect.

Kate Hudson Kisses A-Rod at AMAs, Flashes Chest, Needs to Eat More
Kate Hudson made quite an appearance last night at the American Music Awards, kissing New York Yankees star boyfriend Alex Rodriguez in full, public view.
On top of that, she flashed her chest in a sparkly Gianni Versace dress with a plunging neckline, suggesting that she may not have eaten since about 2007.
Possible anorexic near-nipple slips aside, Kate Hudson and A-Rod palled around with friends, making sweet music backstage at the American Music Awards.
As Kate got cold, possibly due to malnourishment, Alex stepped up, a source said: “A-Rod gave Kate a big squeeze to keep her warm, and a sweet smooch.”
She was “beaming, glowing actually.” Consider our heart strings tugged at.
YIKES: Kate Hudson’s dress at the American Music Awards left much to be desired, and yet little to the imagination. At least A-Rod was there to comfort her.
Hudson, along with Nicole Kidman, who both star in the upcoming Nine with Fergie, introduced the singer-actress’s performance with the Black Eyed Peas.
A-Rod, who just won his first World Series title with the Yankees this month, introduced Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, who sang their hit, “Empire State Of Mind.”
Hudson, in her barely-there silver dress, ignited giggles from the crowd, and at our headquarters, when she repeatedly adjusted her plunging neck line.
Eat a burger or two sometime, girl. Or some more tofu if that’s what you’re into. But yeesh, that’s just not healthy. No matter what Kate Moss says.
Kurt Russell: A-Rod Rules!
Kurt Russell simply could not be happier about his smitten stepdaughter Kate Hudson’s undying, passionate love for a rod. A rod named Alex Rodriguez.
“Of course, with Alex, since this summer and our getting to know him, I’m so happy for him,” Kurt said after the Yankees won the World Series last week.
Sounds like he’s definitely put the stamp of approval on the relationship of Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez, which has been going on since the summer.
“He’s a terrific kid. He’s worked hard for a long, long time and now, all questions have been put to rest for everything and hopefully he will live a wonderful life and show us things in baseball that perhaps we’ve never seen,” Kurt adds.
Kurt and Kate’s mom, his longtime partner Goldie Hawn, definitely think of Alex Rodriguez as family by now, and are standing behind him 100 percent.

“I think support is always a good thing from family, but Alex does what he does because he’s good at it and because he’s worked hard at it,” explains Kurt.
“I think that it’s a good thing that he has a connection with some people that appreciate it with him, but this is about the Yankees,” he said of the big win.
