Earlier this year, Justin Bieber challenged Zac Efron to a hair-off.
But before the latter star can take on the world’s most beloved 16-year old, Efron has another opponent with whom to deal: himself.
Zac has once again changed up his look, as he showed up on the red carpet of the Charlie St. Cloud premiere with a tussled type of mohawk. This isn’t the first time he’s surprised fans with a new hairstyle: we asked readers to vote on his contrasting appearances in July of 2009.

Brody Jenner Shaves Love For Avril Lavigne
If you thought Brody Jenner’s mohawk was crazy, wait until you see the dude’s latest hair-raising maneuver and tribute to punk-pop princess girlfriend Avril Lavigne.
The Hills star and his woman, who have been dating since early 2010, hit the streets of L.A. with the hunk sporting an “A” shaved on the side of his dome.
If he did that for every celebrity he’s dated, he could pretty much write out the whole alphabet. Or at least L, C, K, N and J, and probably more we missed.
Anyway, we can support the move on at least one level - while his Avril Lavigne tattoo is there to stay, at least he can just grow his hair back if needed …

Emma Watson With Short Hair: Fab or Fail?
Adorable Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows actress Emma Watson made headlines today with her new, short haircut, announced via her Twitter account.
“Dear all,” the 20-year-old British actress wrote. “Cut my hair off a few days ago … It feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years.”
“It’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x.”

The Hills hunk and VIP scene mainstay Brody Jenner stepped out at Hollywood’s Katsuya restaurant Saturday with a major hair makeover: a mohawk!
Brody had the sides of his curly dark locks shaved off for a punk new ‘do. Perhaps he did it for a change of pace … or the approval of the girl he loves.
Jenner is currently dating allegedly edgy rocker Avril Lavigne. While the mohawk may be panned by fans, it can be fixed faster than Brody’s Avril tattoo.

Britney Spears Looking Haggard, Confused Lately
The term “hot mess” was coined with Britney Spears in mind.
Okay, that’s a lie, but it might as well be true. Just look at this girl! Exceeding her own lofty fashion standards, Brit went to Crate & Barrel in Sherman Oaks, Calif., yesterday and man. She’s having some major extension woes these days.
You’d think with approximately $700,000 a month in earnings, one could pull herself together a little more. Then again, at least she’s not going crazy … we think. Plus, she wore a bra for once, so it wasn’t all bad on the style front. Small victories!

Hair-Raising News: Snooki to Retire the Poof
Pour out some of your Colt 45 for the poof.
“I haven’t worn the poof in awhile,” Jersey Shore star Snooki, a.k.a. Nicole Polizzi, told E! this week of her signature look. “To be honest, I’m getting tired of it.”
Does that mean it’s about to be retired?
“I’ve been wearing it since I was 16, now everyone expects me to wear the poof,” Snooki said. “I don’t want to be predictable. I want to be different. That’s why I’ve started to do the tease, the curl and pretty much just a different look.”
POOF, NO POOF: Sad as that is, at least she won’t go blonde.
“Ew, no!” she said. “I am not a blonde. I may act like one, but I’m no blonde!”
So true. Meanwhile, Snooki & Co. are flying back to the Garden State to finish filming Jersey Shore (see the Season 2 trailer here) in Seaside Heights.
“We have a lot of bodyguards and cops around us because it’s just going to be insane,” Snooki said. “I don’t even know how it’s all going to work. I’ll be scared if a couple of guys come and try to fight us. God forbid I get hit again.”
“That’s the last straw and I’m going home. It’s not worth it. But I think overall we’re going to be safe,” she added. “We’re going to have a good time.”
Amen. Poof or no poof, the Jersey Shore quotes are gonna be hilarious and at least 10-12 people are gonna get arrested trying to fight these guidos.
