Spencer Pratt Served With Divorce Papers; Heidi Montag Laments “Heartbreaking Experience”
You never know with these two loons, but Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag seem to be well on their way to actually finalizing their long-rumored divorce.
The Hills’ gruesome twosome have reportedly taken the next step to dissolving their marriage, with Heidi authorizing the service of her divorce papers.
That’s right, Spencer Pratt has been served.
He didn’t seem too distraught over it, either. Pratt reportedly received and signed the papers late last week, putting the wheels in motion for dissolution.
Speidi’s divorce can become finalized six months from the time Pratt received the documents, as per California law. Her lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, said:
“Both Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are in full agreement to settle their divorce as quickly as possible without the need of a court appearance.”

While the plastic pair appear to be briskly moving to the end of their marriage they made official on MTV in April 2009 (they staged at least one sham wedding prior to that), they have each been tweeting about their next moves.
Pratt has been busy at strip clubs and working on a 3-D beach movie, while Montag, who dropped out of a reality show with BFF Jen Bunney, has been busy working on music and “finally hav[ing] some girl time for the first time in years!”
“Cleaning house and getting rid of my old life, it feels fresh.”
Montag also commented on Twitter regarding the state of her marriage to Pratt, noting that “this has been a heartbreaking experience to go through, and it’s not that I don’t love Spencer. We just want different things in life.”
Confirming that they are actually separated, she notes: “We don’t live together. Spencer and I are finally moving forward with our lives, but with any divorce, there is much to work through. We’ve been together almost five years.”

Heidi Montag wants to get in touch with her inner nature girl again. She also longs for her old BFF back, and nostalgically watches repeats of The Hills.
The plastic princess, who was inexplicably booted off the show in its final season and recently filed for divorce from Spencer Pratt, is lost these days.
Her family and what few friends she has left can’t get in touch with her, and she’s been oddly absent from her beloved celebrity sites’ photo galleries.
What’s she been up to?
“Watching old Hills [episodes],” the ‘Tag Tweeted at two of her former MTV co-stars. “I miss you @AudrinaPatridge and most of all @laurenconrad.”
Neither Audrina Patridge nor Lauren Conrad responded to the Tweets.

Former roommates and best friends, Heidi Montag and Conrad’s relationship famously cooled thanks to controlling boyfriend-turned husband Pratt.
LC accused the gruesome twosome of leaking a rumor about a sex tape starring herself and Jason Wahler. When Heidi Montag attempted to mend fences with her, Conrad brushed her off, quipping, “I want to forgive you - and forget you.”
Might they rekindle their friendship now that he’s out of the picture? We wouldn’t count on it, but separating from King Spencer can only help the cause.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Montag filed for divorce from the mountain man in Santa Monica, Calif. Spencer Pratt didn’t seem too sad, saying:
“Well, some say if you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Heidi couldn’t handle King Spencer’s fame so she got out of the marriage.”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt: Seriously Separated
Despite reports from celebrity gossip sources such as Radar Online that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are back together despite their public breakup, the plastic pairing tells People that their separation is literal as well as emotional.
“We don’t live together,” Pratt said, shooting down recent rumors that the gruesome twosome is co-habitating even after Heidi filed for divorce last week.
He and Heidi Montag are on good terms and are still spending time together, but Pratt says they’re not reconciling and aren’t living under the same roof.
Spencer Pratt has been in and out of the couple’s Pacific Palisades residence, as seen on The Hills, while Montag is living in Malibu (with Cougar Zank).
Still, Speidi does see each other often.

It’s easy to see why the public would be skeptical of anything these two say or do, but Speidi insists their breakup, while amicable, is the real deal.
“Spencer and I are finally moving forward with our lives, but with any divorce there is much to work through,” Montag said. “We’ve been together almost five years … there are assets to divide, work to be discussed, and we share our puppies.”
The split hasn’t been easy on either one.
“This has been a heartbreaking experience to go through and it’s not that I don’t love Spencer,” Montag said. “We just want different things in life.”

Ever since the first reports of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt splitting up, Hills fans understandably assumed wondered if it was another big PR hoax.
Looks like it isn’t.
Almost two months after the plastic princess went to court seeking legal separation from the puppet master, the reality star has filed for divorce.
Heidi Montag cites the usual “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the pair’s split in a divorce petition filed in Santa Monica, Calif., Court.
“Heidi has amended her petition for separation and has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” attorney Jodeane Farrell said. The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner.”
Hopefully Spencer Pratt finds comfort in his beloved crystals.
Adding that terms will be hashed out in an out of court settlement, Farrell said “both parties are amicable with each other and finalizing the divorce.”
The couple staged a sham wedding in Cabo in 2008, then tied the knot for real in April 2009 at a church in Pasadena, Calif., appearing happy.
Things went downhill fast, however.
Heidi Montag underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, fired Spencer as her manager, released terrible music, accused The Hills creator Adam DiVello of sexual harassment and became estranged from her family and so on.
For his part, Spencer Pratt has grown increasingly eccentric, and even admitted to being a fame whore and choosing his “career” over his wife.

He echoed that sentiment yesterday to People.
“I love Heidi but our marriage was a show – it was part of The Hills world,” Pratt said after the divorce filing. “That world is on a sound stage.”
Referring to himself in the third-person, he adds: “It’s clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag’s ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world.”

Right. So basically, his stardom is just too enormous. Makes sense.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt: Back Together?
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have both kept an uncharacteristically low profile publicly since their separation, but what’s going on behind the scenes?
We know you were dying to know.
By all indications, Heidi was moving forward with plans to divorce Spencer, who even confirmed the end of the reality TV match made in heaven … or so we thought until comments by her model friend, Lauren Stone, after stopping by her pad.
She wasn’t the only guest: Spencer Pratt was there.
“I saw Spencer, he seems really normal. He actually showed us his new project he’s working on,” Stone said. “He showed both of us a clip of the movie.”
Lauren Stone just offered up some unexpected Speidi intel.
“I thought it was really funny. I think it’s about a lifeguard that’s trying to get girls. The lifeguard is kinda of like a douchebag type of guy, not too cool.”
Okay then.
Lauren Stone says she has no idea if a reconciliation between the two are in the works but “she didn’t even know they were going through a divorce.”
Her confusion isn’t unique among fans, websites and even the plastic princess’ inner circle. Heidi Montag has kept very quiet about her personal drama.
“I’m actually not sure what’s going on,” Stone said.
“She didn’t really go into many details about anything but the way she was acting it just seemed like she was really happy and free and just living life. She’s been gardening a lot and writing music and she seems to be really happy.”
For what it’s worth, Montag recently pulled out of a planned reality show with Jen Bunney and wants to get back to her roots, whatever that means.

The Hills is history. Now Heidi Montag’s would-be reality show is too.
We know this must be devastating news, but try to keep it together.
The star planned to pair up with pal and former Hills hanger-on Jen Bunney on the world’s worst reality show this year, but the Bun says that’s off.
Well, for Heidi at least. She’s still interested!
“I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi, but it looks like some things have changed,” Bunney writes on her blog, which apparently exists.

What’s more, she doesn’t know if “Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on in her personal life (no we are not in a fight, and no Heidi is not “dropping” me to do reality shows with the twins).”
Bunney’s comments come amid rumors that Heidi Montag is shopping The Heidi Show with Hugh Hefner’s exes, Kristina and Karissa Shannon.
Amazingly, Jen may still move forward sans Heidi: “Since that recent development our original network and some others have offered to continue on with the show despite Heidi possibly not being involved, which I just recently agreed to.”
LOL. A Jen Bunney reality show? Honestly?
“I respect that she has a lot to deal with right now and have to decided to go ahead and move forward with it alone, since these opportunities have presented themselves (my hope is that she will want to be involved later on),” says Bunney.
“So I have already been to a few really productive meetings in the past few weeks, and the show is moving forward, looking to air this January.”
No way this ever airs. None.
Spencer Pratt Confirms End of Marriage to Heidi Montag, Continuation of Fame Whore Status
Spencer Pratt is always plotting something, but the former star of The Hills says his impending divorce from co-star wife Heidi Montag is not made-for-TV.
Despite the fact that nobody has seen divorce papers and family and Hills co-stars are skeptical, Pratt tells People that the plastic pair have drifted apart:
“We love each other but I’m a fame whore and I’ll never grow out of it. [Heidi] knows that and doesn’t want that. She wants to hike, hang out and be calmer.”
Calmer? Isn’t she pitching her own show?
“I want every kind of press. She believes in bad press. There’s absolutely no way my love for fame and her love for puppies will ever work out successfully.”
Sad, but true.
TICK TOCK: Are Spencer’s 15 minutes finally up?
Pratt, who with Heidi became known as Speidi, says his estranged wife “doesn’t want to be Speidi anymore. She wants to be Heidi Montag: the sex symbol.”
“She thought I’d burn out, but I’m still Spencer who went on The Hills to be famous. I still need to do stunts and take cues from Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.”
Spencer Pratt, who mentions he and his ex are “friendly,” says Speidi trouble is nothing new. “It’s been a constant battle since we got married,” he says.
“She would be like, ‘Are you really Tweeting that? Are you really doing that?’”
As for the next step, Pratt says he decided to grow a beard (which he debuted in last week’s failed party-crashing bid) and turn to art: “I’m switching it up.”
“I’ve already gone for the blonde, spiky-haired look. Now I’m going for the Hollywood producer look. I’m an artist now. I have an easel and everything.”

Snooki Wants to Punch Heidi Montag
Talk about a battle of larger-than-life MTV personalities.
With Heidi Montag’s show The Hills ending its run this week (with no sign of the plastic princess) and Snooki’s hit Jersey Shore kicking off its second season July 29, the two ladies have somehow gotten themselves into a hilarious feud.
Asked by Perez Hilton if Jersey Shore would consider taking Heidi on, Snooki replied: “I will punch her in the face because I don’t like her. She had too many surgeries. She looks like an alien and guidettes don’t look like aliens, just saying.”

Asked if there’s a reason she hates Heidi Montag, she said: “I don’t know [if she said anything about me]. I don’t research Heidi because she’s nothing to me.”

“I’m trying to do as much as I can right now. I have a clothing line coming out, then my hair [line] is Snook-it, [using] hairspray and a teasing comb,” she said.
“My book’s coming out about how I view the world.”
How Heidi views Snooki is pretty unfavorable after she caught wind of the Oompa Loompa’s feelings from Perez’s Tweets (click here to follow THG on Twitter).

Heidi Montag Breaks Up With Jen Bunney
Spencer Pratt isn’t the only person in Heidi Montag’s life she wants to ditch. According to reports, she’s cut off ties with her old friend Jennifer Bunney too.
Heidi and the Bunney, who she had been planning to do a reality show with for like a week, were inseparable after she announced plans to divorce Spencer.
They drifted apart soon after, though. Ever since Jen Bunney spoke to the press about Speidi, it’s been difficult to stay friends with the two, sources say.
“Heidi is trying to distance herself from Jen … not even returning her calls. Ever since Jen has returned from Hong Kong, she’s calling Heidi non-stop asking about this summer’s show. Heidi is definitely over her,” a source told X17.
That’s because she’s been replaced by … the Shannon Twins!

You knew this was coming. If Speidi really is splitting up, which oddly enough seems like it might be the case, there’s no way it could remain amicable for long.
One day after coming on to Justin Bieber on Twitter, Heidi Montag disavowed her apparent online flirtation and accused Spencer Pratt of hacking her account.
Heidi’s Tweet to Bieb said the following: “now that I am getting divorced I think you and I should do a photo shoot together! Cutie ;)! I’m closer to your age.”
Presumably, she means closer to his age than Kim Kardashian, Justin’s previous Twitter GF. But to hear Heidi Montag tell it now, she didn’t even write that.
