Report: Witness in Mel Gibson Case Dies
Mel Gibson’s babysitter, who may have been a key witness in the domestic abuse case involving his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, has lost her battle with cancer.
The sitter, whom he crassly labeled a “wetback” in one of his now-infamous rants, and who claims she witnessed the actor’s rage, passed away over the weekend.
According to Oksana, the babysitter had witnessed Mel storming around the house, slamming doors and screaming on the phone, “I want to [expletive] destroy you.”
The woman never provided a statement direct to law enforcement investigators before she died, and says she didn’t come forward sooner because of her cancer.
She apparently left the actor’s Malibu mansion before his alleged January 6 rampage, during which Oksana claims Mel punched her while she held their daughter.
What the babysitter actually witnessed, we may never know.
However, her testimony could have been critical in at least establishing that Mel was very much out of sorts that day. It’s all a moot, tragic point now, however.
In one recording, Gibson is allegedly heard referring to the babysitter, saying, “I will fire (name omitted) if she’s at your house. I will make it known and fire her.”
The deeply disturbed individual then throws in this dig at her: “I’ll report her to the (expletive) people that take (expletive) money from the wetbacks, okay?”
Grigorieva is hoping to strip the actor of custody of their daughter, Lucia, now nine months. Her attorneys say the audio tapes prove he’s a danger to the child.
The recordings may not be viable in a criminal probe as they were made without Gibson’s consent, though she claims she did so because she feared for her life.

Mel Gibson Crashes Car Into Hill; No Alcohol Abused, Injuries Reported or Jews Insulted
Mel Gibson needs to get a grip … on the steering wheel.
The actor was thankfully uninjured after getting into a car accident yesterday in Malibu. Vince Ramirez of the California Highway Patrol confirmed the crash.
Reports say Mel was driving solo when he lost control of his 2008 Maserati at 8:35 p.m. and crashed it into a rocky hillside. He was apparently sober, too.
“Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement and received a ride home from a friend,” Ramirez said.
“His vehicle was towed from the scene.”
Poor Mel Gibson just can’t catch a break these days.
Unlike his infamous 2006 DUI arrest, after which he swore at police, called a woman “sugar t!ts,” tried to break a pay phone and blamed Jews for all the world’s problems, “Driving under the influence is not suspected in this accident.”
Mel is currently embroiled in a contentious custody battle with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva over their 9-month-old daughter Lucia. He is also being investigated for domestic violence, as she claims he hit her in a January 6 altercation.
He may or may not have been doing Violet Kowal also.
Violet Kowal Claims Possession of Mel Gibson Text Messages, Says He Wanted Her to “Disappear”
It looks like Oksana Grigorieva may not have been the only Mel Gibson mistress to receive incriminating text messages from the insane actor in January.
Violet Kowal, who claims to have been Gibson’s mistress while he was nailing Oksana (he is still technically married to wife Robyn), says he texted her too.
The significance of said text messages?
Kowal, an alleged Polish porn star, says she was told by Mel’s bodyguard to keep her mouth shut about the January 6 altercation between Oksana and Mel.
This is according to sources who have been in touch with Violet Kowal, who claims she was communicating with Gibson about that very fight with Oksana.

In the days following - January 7-9 - Kowal claims she was contacted by one of Mel’s bodyguards, telling her she wasn’t allowed to discuss the incident.
Moreover, he suggested she “disappear” for a price.
Kowal, who recently lawyered up (she is repped by Gloria Allred, of course) has phone records and text messages from Mel to prove all of this happened.
Also, Kowal claims to have an email she received recently from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services, the Sensitive Case Unit.
That office informed her they wanted to speak with her, presumably in regard to Mel and Oksana’s custody fight over eight-month-old daughter Lucia.
Kowal has not met with DCFS … yet.
Babysitter Says She Saw Mel Gibson Flip Out
Mel Gibson apparently freaked out the day Oksana Grigorieva says he hit her. While a babysitter didn’t see an attack, she witnessed a meltdown prior to it.
The babysitter for Mel and Oksana was front and center for the beginning of the January 6 fight which Oksana says ended in Gibson punching her in the face.
Their baby daughter Lucia, now eight months, was also hurt in the attack, Oksana claims. Mel, via his attorneys, has denied any physical assault happened.
In the hours before the incident occurred that day, Oksana went to a basketball game. Mel, Lucia and a babysitter were by themselves at his Malibu home.
According to TMZ, the babysitter says Mel “began freaking out” while Oksana was gone, “slamming doors, cussing and screaming at someone on the phone.”
What sent Mel Gibson through the roof on Jan. 6 and Feb. 18?
The babysitter says Mel was screaming to someone on the phone, “I want to f*%king destroy you.” It’s not clear who the recipient of that threat was/is.
Remember, this is not when the shocking Mel Gibson meltdown, during which he threatens Oksana and Lucia, was recorded by her on various phone calls.
That was February 18.
On January 6, the sitter called Oksana, urging her to come home because of the actor’s behavior, saying “Mel was possessed and completely out of control.”
The babysitter was present when Oksana returned home but left before any violence occurred - if it even occurred at all, depending on who you believe.
Other sources are questioning the sitter’s claims, because - similar to the alleged abuse photo Oksana produced - they never surfaced until right now.
On the flip side, people connected with the babysitter say she didn’t come forward because she’s fearful of Mel and is currently fighting stage 4 cancer.
Oksana Grigorieva Source Describes Mel Gibson Rampage; Says Star Threatened to Hit Baby
Did Mel Gibson threaten to hit his own daughter? That’s the latest allegation from her mother and his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva in their ugly feud.
According to Oksana, Mel said he would “hit” little Lucia, their baby girl, during an explosive blow-up with his ex-lover, saying “‘Take her! I will hit her!”
A February 18 incident was the catalyst for Oksana to walk out on the star, taking their daughter with her. Many, many irate Mel Gibson rants followed.
The day after, Mel supposedly texted her to say he “wasn’t safe for you last night.” His nicotine withdrawal may be responsible, in part, for the rampage.
On the 18th, Mel and Oksana gathered in the lush grounds of the actor’s Malibu mansion, for a tree-and-placenta planting ceremony in honor of Lucia.
But what should have been a joyous occasion turned ugly, Oksana says, when Mel became angry, accusing her of “smiling too much” at the gardener.

“Oksana has recounted that Lucia began crying, so she went back inside - and Mel followed her in,” a source, familiar with Oksana’s testimony, reveals.
“When they got inside, Mel started ridiculing Okana’s accent … In response, she said she rolled her eyes at Mel, which made him even more angry.”
The source said Grigorieva apologized to an irate Mel and “begged for forgiveness,” but Mel responded that Oksana was always irritated with him.
“Oksana said she told Mel that his comment was she was only irritated when he accused her of smiling at the gardener and made fun of her accent.”
Grigorieva then recalled: “This set off Mel and he flew into a rage.”
In the hours that followed, Mel returned to the house, after leaving for a break, at which point, “Oksana said Mel told her he needed to leave the house again, in order to show her and Lucia what ‘mean’ really is,” said the source.
“He also supposedly told Oksana, in regards to Lucia, ‘Take her! I will hit her. I have got to go,’” and Oksana took him at his word, taking Lucia to one of Mel’s other properties, in Sherman Oaks, Calif. He then started to call.
And call … and call, and call …
Oksana had already accused Gibson of hitting Lucia and bruising her face during on January 6, the same night he allegedly punched her mother.
The 40-year-old Russian beauty was holding the baby when the star supposedly slugged her in the face, causing damage to two of her teeth.
As he did this, he also allegedly hit baby Lucia, bruising her chin. The abuse photos of Oksana surfacing online have been cast doubt upon, however, as she reportedly did not produce them during her mediation sessions with the actor.
Gibson has not been charged with a crime, denies ever assaulting Oksana, and has accused her of trying to extort him for money with the tapes.

With no settlement or truce in sight in her battle with Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva has added a top criminal and civil attorney to her legal team.
James Spertus, a former federal prosecutor and an experienced trial attorney who specializes in civil and criminal litigation, is on Team Oksana.
She had met with civil rights campaigner Lisa Bloom as well as with Mark Lane, who wrote the famous JFK conspiracy book Rush to Judgment.
As she gears up for this protracted legal brawl, Spertus joins power lawyers Manley Freid and Marci Levine in the Russian musician’s corner.
Oksana Grigorieva claims Mel Gibson exploded in rage January 6 at his Malibu mansion and punched her twice as she held their baby Lucia.
She is considering filing a possible civil complaint against Mel.
Mel and Oksana’s relationship has been controversial from the start.
Gibson has accused his ex-girlfriend of trying to extort money from him after recording vile and abusive telephone conversations he made.
The Mel Gibson tapes were indeed vile and abusive … verbally. As of right now, Mel Gibson has not been charged with any crime, however.
One of Grigorieva’s new lawyer’s immediate missions upon hiring, TMZ reports? Hiring experts who can sweep Oksana’s home for bugs.
Sources say Oksana is worried Mel or the media has planted cameras or wiretapping devices and Spertus doesn’t want to take chances.
Mel supposedly has his own PIs working the case.
The attorney is a nationally recognized expert on computers and other electronic gadgets, so he should have no problem with that task.
Mel Gibson: Trying to Dodge Court Deposition?
Is Mel Gibson trying to avoid sitting down for a deposition as part of the domestic violence investigation launched against him? All depends on who you ask.
Sources connected with Oksana Grigorieva, who accuses the actor of beating her, say that Gibson is going to great lengths to avoid sitting for his deposition.
Oksana’s camp believes Mel does not want his deposition taken before the L.A. County District Attorney makes a decision on whether to prosecute the actor.
The D.A.’s office will make its decision on whether the police’s domestic violence investigation warrants charges against him within the next couple of weeks.
Mel will almost certainly choose to assert his Fifth Amendment privilege on most, if not all, of the events surrounding the January 6 fight, TMZ speculates.
As for the implications of that on the family case - Mel and Oksana are also fighting for custody of eight-month-old daughter Lucia - that remains to be seen.
Regardless, the deposition was scheduled more than two weeks ago, only Oksana was far from pleased to learn Mel was out of the country on a fishing trip.
Other sources dispute that Mel is intentionally avoiding his deposition, saying he will be back this weekend and the deposition should take place shortly.
The Mel Gibson rants Oksana recorded and leaked certainly prove how badly he needs help, but as far as whether he abused her? That’s much murkier.
He’s apparently had a P.I. grilling witnesses, or alleged witnesses, to the attack(s). Are any of them credible? That will be up to the D.A. to determine.
Mel Gibson Had P.I. Grilling Witnesses in Oksana Grigorieva Case; Actor’s Ex Alleges More Abuse
Mel Gibson hired private investigators to visit key witnesses in an attempt to discredit former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva’s abuse claims, reports say.
Radar Online says PIs visited at least two witnesses poised to provide evidence against Mel, who stands accused of battering Oksana on January 6.
Oksana has told police, who are investigating Gibson, that he punched her twice in the face, leaving her with two broken teeth and a concussion.
One of the witnesses visited by Mel’s private eyes was her dentist, Dr. Ross Sheldon, whose accounts of the injuries Oksana suffered have varied.
“This calculated ploy explains the conflicting stories the dentist supposedly made about injuries Oksana suffered at the hands of Mel,” said a source.
Despite his apparent conflicting stories, Dr. Sheldon says willing to go on record stating that Oksana did indeed suffer a major blow to her mouth.
He’s got issues, but did Mel Gibson abuse ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva?
Meanwhile, Mel’s alleged flurry of punches January 6 was not the first instance of domestic violence, his ex-lover has now claimed to authorities.
Grigorieva says the rage-filled superstar first assaulted her in November 2009. Just a few weeks after she gave birth to their daughter Lucia.
“Oksana said Mel got right up in her face during a confrontation and was screaming and berating her,” said a source familiar with the investigation.
She told law enforcement Mel was so worked up, he was literally frothing at the mouth as he spewed hatred and even spat saliva in her face.
It’s a vision we can easily picture after listening to the Mel Gibson rants - phone calls she recorded with the out-of-control actor February 18.
“Oksana said Mel pushed her on the shoulder and butted her with his chest,” said the source. “Oksana claimed Mel pushed her a number of times.”
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will turn over the case to the D.A.’s office, which will decide whether to file charges, in about two weeks.

Mel Gibson’s Dad: The Pope is Gay!
Another day, another offensive Gibson rant … this time not by Mel, though!
Mel Gibson’s controversial father, Hutton Gibson, told Liberty News Radio that “half the Vatican” is gay and that Pope Benedict XVI is a homosexual too.
Asked by Radar Online to confirm those remarks, the elder Gibson, 91, did so and then some, saying: “That is correct – I stand by my statements.”
“The Vatican is full of all these child molesters, that is all there is to it.”
Hutton Gibson shocked listeners on the Political Cesspool Radio Program with his take on why the Catholic Church has failed to tackle homosexuality.
He calls Pope Benedict was “a homosexual” and “a slippery character” involved in a Masonic conspiracy out to destroy the Catholic Church from within.
Hutton Gibson is not a huge fan of the Pope.
Mel Gibson’s father attends his alternative Catholic Church in Malibu and has so far not spoken about the actor’s alleged abuse of Oksana Grigorieva.
This is a rant that gives Mel a run for his money, though.
The outspoken critic of the Catholic Church questioned in a 2003 interview how Nazis had disposed of six million bodies during the Holocaust, and claimed that the September 11, 2001, attacks were perpetrated by remote control.
Now, Hutton Gibson claims the Catholic Church isn’t fighting the repeal of Proposition 8 “because half of the people there in the Vatican are queer.”
“They have not handled the horrible situation in the church. In fact they have fostered it because as I say they are trying to destroy the church.”
Asked if he thinks the Pope is gay, Hutton replied, “I certainly do. Why else would he put up with this? He was in charge of stamping it out.”
